Our School Council has decided to help make our school more sustainable. One of their ideas is to improve the ways we recycle in school. We already collect waste paper in separate recycling bins, but they believe there is more we can do!

The School Council has noticed a missed opportunity for recycling during lunchtimes. They observed that many plastic bottles are being placed in the general waste bins instead of being recycled.

To address this, they have created a plan to place recycling bins in the dining hall. This will allow children who bring packed lunches to dispose of their empty plastic bottles correctly so they can be recycled.

The School Council has also designed and created posters and will introduce this new project during Golden Book Assembly. This will help everyone in the school understand how they can contribute to improving our recycling efforts.

Here are some of their amazing posters.
