In Mr McGill’s class, Year 3 were incredibly fortunate to start off this half term’s topic for Volcanoes with a virtual reality session from EduPeopleVR. Their curriculum-aligned VR workshops draw on over 14 years of primary teaching and curriculum leadership experience and created an unforgettable educational experiences that our children didn’t just observe— they felt and lived. Children were fully immersed in exploring (virtually – of course!) some of our world’s most dangerous active volcanoes, to exploring how extinct and dormant volcanoes have shaped the land we live on today. A core component of EduPeopleVR’s innovative workshops is incorporating immersive technology and oracy strategies to develop high-quality talk and deep thinking. What a blast we had!
