Having joined us late in July, Laura has stunned everyone with her growing English speaking skills. Sivan joined us in September and is a shining example of where Laura will be soon.
Both girls impressed their classmates this week with detailed work, completed at home and showcasing their language skills.
We'd like to say thank you and well done to Owen Simpson, after completing the Great North Mini Run. Wearing his medal, you'd hardly know he'd run such a looooooooong way, looking barely pink in the face.
Dylan and Leon have started the week flying!
They have already brought in shoe boxes stuffed with items for the homeless people of Gateshead and Newcastle!

Laura Pilkaite wowed her year 5 classmates when she arrived this morning. Having spent the week studying Malaysia, she decided to whip up a 'small model' of the Petronas Towers at home. Apparently it took no long than 50 minutes to create this detailed model with the help of her sister.
New to the English language 5 short months ago, it's hard to believe that she is now learning about more new countries. Well done Laura!

Dennis and Jack showed us their teeth knowledge in Golden Book Assembly on Friday afternoon. Dennis made a fantastic, information poster all about teeth and Jack created a wonderful model of the human teeth. He was even able to name the different types of teeth we have and what they are used for! Well done lads! You really are showing off!
