As a treat for being the class with the highest attendance last half term, Miss Cutters' class visited Dukeshouse Wood in Hexham.
Kitted out in our waterproofs and hiking boots Year 3 had a fun day out exploring the walks around the area. Luckily we made it back to the minibuses before it started to rain!
Groups of year 3 children have been working with Nick the super chef, to explore native American food, preparing and tasting their own creations.
While others cooked, some children wrote Native American tales using symbols similar to those used traditionally within that culture. Look at what we've done......
