Carrhill is an official Shoebiz collection point. Thanks to shoe collections nationwide, Blue Peter has raised enough money to buy 152 bikes for community care workers, 893 art kits, 3,333 skipping ropes, 66,652 memory books to help children to remember their parents… and lots more!

But your hard work isn’t over yet. There are more than 600,000 children orphaned by AIDS in Malawi, and the Shoebiz appeal can to help even more of them.

Carrhill children have donated many pairs of shoes to the cause. This week we would like to make a last push before the collection date next week.

Hoops For Health.

Years 5 and 6 recently enjoyed some personal coaching from the Newcastle Eagles. Basketball players from the local team held a series of workshops within school promoting healthy lifestyles and keeping fit.

The course culminated in a basketball competition at the Northumbria Centre where Carrhill won through to the finals.

Friday 23rd February, Carrhill played in the final at Newcastle Arena, where we won 6/2.

Well done Carrhill.

The winning team.
