Carr Hill steals the show in Eldon Square.

As our reputation for performance spreads, Eldon Square invited us to help launch Christmas 2006. Children from KS1 performed a nativity, accompanied by KS2 singers. BBC televion's Paddy MacDee described us as a truly special school, before introducing the performance. Many Carr Hill parents came along to support us and the general public enjoyed the show.

Reception children show their support for Children in Need.

As Children in Need launched their appeal for 2006, Carr HIll raised money for this worth while cause. Children paid £1.00 to 'dress down' or in the case of Miss Rickerby's reception class, 'dress up'.

Anti-Bullying Competition 2006.

From November 20th, Carr Hill will be celebrating Anti-Bullying week. Posters and leaflets are extremely difficult to find, therefore in true Carr Hill tradition, we will solve this problem ourselves. Children from all year groups are invited to enter a poster competition. All entries should be no larger than A3 and should include an anti-bullying slogan. Entries should be handed to School Councillors by November 23rd. Winning entries will be framed and displayed in school throughout the year.
